The Maruhage Empire Four Heavenly Kings (マルハーゲ四天王, Maruhage Shitenou; Chrome Dome Empire Big Four in English anime) are characters from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.

Background

Taking orders directly from Tsuru Tsurulina IV himself, these four are the most powerful Hair Hunters in the empire, below only to the emperor and his right-hand men. These elite members rule from specific locations throughout the empire (except Purupu, who travels around the world on his own). While extremely powerful in themselves, each of these four have a vast team of warriors under their command, similar if not more effective than an average Hair Hunter. The loyalty of these four vary from member to member: while powerful and evil members such as Purupu and OVER have no mercy in either killing or in ripping hair out and are extremely loyal to the Empire, Halekulani is more concerned with his own profits and in making as much money as possible. On the other hand, Gunkan (Captain Battleship), while seemingly loyal to the 4th, finds his own ulterior motives in taking out enemies to the empire as well as Hair Hunters!

Despite their amazing power, all four members wind up defeated and humiliated by none other than Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. On another interesting note, Halekulani and OVER temporarily join Bo-bobo's group to fight a common enemy in the form of the Reverse Maruhage Empire.

Trivia

Purupu is the only member of the Four Heavenly Kings who is not playable in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Bakutou Hajike Taisen
