Changes from the manga

  • In the manga, Bo-bobo and Beauty meet Killalino before approaching Hajike Village and after taking down G-Block.
  • In the manga, the leader of the Dynamite Bros. explodes after trying to take out Bo-bobo. In the anime, he floats down wearing a parachute and lands inside a convenience store.
  • In the manga, when Takashi is lecturing Bo-bobo, Beauty, and Killalino, he is smoking. In the anime, the cigarette is removed.
  • In the manga, Killalino knowing Bo-bobo is a duelist (Parody of Yu-Gi-Oh!). In the anime, Killarino knowing Bo-bobo is a vegetarian.
  • In the manga, Takashi's Father tells him that he is bad joke material. In the anime, he tells him that he is a "Dundie" (Swan in the Japanese version).

Trivia

  • Dengakuman appears on Bo-bobo's purse as a keychain when he is dressed as a schoolgirl.
  • When Bo-BoBo and the bears do squatting exercises in front of the Hajike School, they chant "Purukogi", which is a derivative of the popular Korean dish, bulgogi. Bibimbap, another Korean dish, is also mentioned at the end of the exercise.
  • This episode sets the record for the most Japanese subtitles used in a single episode.
